Cebu Travel: Hospicio de San Jose de Barili

Outreach program is part of the college curriculum. And we made our last outreach program at Hospicio de San Jose de Barili.

All AMA-Cebu Student gathered and contribute to draw a smile to elder people. We also loved to share our blessings from God by caring them in just one day. When you see a simple smile from them all your sacrifice and pain will gone.

Hospicio de San Jose de Barili is located at Barili, Cebu City Philippines. It was a simple orphanage for the old people. You will learn a lot of lessons and stories from them as they've shared. 

AMA Students shared their talents to the old people to make them happy in just a single second on their lifes. And not surprise for everybody when old people also shared their talents to us because everyone of us has a talent to be proud of.

Lolas and Lolos are very active in games we've prepared for them. And they also actively participate to show their talents given by God.

I would like to thank to Lola Dolores, Catarina, Alvina, two Leonora, Pacita, Emma, Dulce, Segudinda and Anecita. I would like to thank also to Lolo Jun and Boy. I'm so glad to meet you and know just a single day. 

To the winner of gift packages namely: Lola Dolores and two Leonora.Congratulations to them!.

First, go to South Bus Terminal
Second, pay the Terminal Fee for 5php
Third, go to bus where destination is to Barili, Cebu City
Fourth, Just leave a note to bus collector that you want to stop at Hospicio de San Jose de Barili.

But I suggest to have your own buses to rent or own services to make hassle free.

Cebu Travel: SM Bowling Center - First Time to play bowling.

One of my classmate, invited me to join and attend their PAW night. Mostly of the attendees are youth. I'm glad to found a co-youth that praise God.

Since, he invited us to their PAW night. I actively attended PAW night. I love to attend so that I can give time to praise God with them.

Last Wednesday, March 16, 2011 is the last PAW night for this semester. We really enjoy the last PAW night. We celebrate workship day last Saturday, March 19,2011 at SM Bowling Center.

I have a lot of first time on that day. First time to enter the Bowling Center at SM. It was also my first time to play bowling. I never thought i could play bowling because i haven't hold any bowling ball. I was afraid at first on what I'm going to do.

The first time I hold the ball, I frequently ask a question to my only love Jenifer Patilan. And when I throw the ball directly to the pins, I was afraid and nervous if I'm going to hit the pin and at the end I was a nice shot as first timer.

Each one of us, played two rounds and I was so happy that i got a "strike" for the first time. I used to play bowling at mobile phones and we all know that mobile phones is very different from actual.

All you need bring to SM Bowling Center - Cebu is a pair of socks and fee. We are lucky that fee was free by the Pastor of the church.

Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School Grand Alumni[Update]

The Grand Alumni Homecoming is fast approaching. Less than a month MCCNHS celebrates the 25th Foundation Day. Few months left for the Grand Alumni Homecoming.


As far as I heard, each representative of the batch in some clusters to meet what they gonna do and present for the MCCNHS Grand Alumni Homecoming.

Batch 2006-2010 are belong to the last clusters formed. Cherry Mae Belleza Gaballo  suggested that batch 2007 do an "ALUMNI IDOL" for the coming MCCNHS Grand Alumni Homecoming.

 

 

Cherry Mae Belleza Gaballo representative of MCCNHS Alumni Batch 2007 organized a meeting and also posted at Facebook last October 28,2010.

Here's what we decided:
Everybody must contribute a minimum payment of Php20.00 for the cluster's funds. Every alumnus was obliged to pay the minimum amount.   Please do cooperate because Cherry Mae Belleza Gaballo and other representative do their respective job to make this event successful.

The money should be complete by the end the week in order to know the prize for "ALUMNI IDOL". Sir Jaypee Polancos Mañago suggested to have this following prize: 1st - 5000php ; 2nd - 3000php; 3rd - 1000php.


And we will set-up an audition of ALUMNI IDOL this coming January 2011 and deliberate for the finalist at the end of january 2011.

MCCNHS Grand Alumni Homecoming : February 2011

The MCCNHS Alumni Associations organized a 1st grand assembly for all alumna of MCCNHS (Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School) last October 10,2010 at the Annex Gym of School. The Agenda of the Assembly: Election of MCCNHS Alumni Association Oath taking of the newly elected officers Preparation of the 25th Anniversary of MCCNHS] Preparation of the Grand Alumni Homecoming The Assembly was attended by all alumna from 1991-2010. As we expected, the 2010 graduates are the most number attended in the first alumna assembly. How's the Election? We elected the President only because when the elections start it is almost lunch time. To save a time, we highly agreed that we will choose a representative for each batch. So that, each batch will be updated thru their representative. All representatives will be the one to chosed the final officers for the association. The 20 representatives plus the 9 alumni's teacher plus the elected President is part of the Board of the Directors. The elected President is Nicanor Paquibot. What's The Plan? Each representative of the batch will be the one to update to their co-batch about this coming 25th Anniversary and Grand Alumni Homecoming. The Principal Ms. Reina Perez suggested that Grand Alumni Homecoming and the 25th Anniversary will be combine.The celebration will last for one week. Everybody agreed what Ms.Perez suggested. The association decided that each batch should have contribution of this big event of MCCNHS. As long as the contribution will help to improved the school or somewhat fund-raising project for school.
