here’s the deal. I have a web service xml spits and reads a Web application that uses XML data in an Office Web Component Pivot Table. To do so, however, I need to add a Web reference to the application. This is the Problem.Als I make the attempt, I get a 401.3 Access Denied “error. I am at a loss how to fix this problem. I have been scouring the net. I’ve checked the IIS settings for read access to everything in the web service directory. I am using. NET Framework 2.0 and XP Pro. The web service works when I use Visual Web Developer 2008, but not otherwise. Now I’m here fragen.Wenn you have any ideas, I would really appreciate to hear. your web service is configured as an application in IIS? Open its properties in IIS, click on the “Home Directory” tab and make sure it specifies the name of an application. If not, click the Create button. IIS set to use. NET 2.0 in the work process?
