Intramurals is compulsory to all education institutions that serve services to student to promote the characteristics of sportsmanship. Intramural made the mode of the student to be fun and active especially in sports. Intramurals can be called Intrams for short.
AMA Computer College - Cebu Campus was launched the Intramurals 2010 last September 29,2010 with the theme:
Unity and Goodwill through SportsThe emcee of the program was the owner of Jaysee.Me Jaysee John R. Pingkian. September 29,2010 was considered as the first day of the Intrams 2010. AMA Computer College- Cebu Campus will celebrate the 4 days Intramurals from September 29,2010 until October 2,2010.
Usually the first day of the event in AMA started with a prayer if small gatherings and mass for big events or gathering for students.
Here are the schedules:
Day 1
8:00 - 9:00 - Mass
- The venue was the parking lot of AMA Computer College - Cebu Campus located at Sitio Sindulan, Mabolo, Cebu City
9:30 (Parade)
- The students walked to parade the members and the candidates of Mr. and Ms. Siglakas 2010 (happened also on the first day) each team in the Sitio Sindulan with SIMS (Season Initiated Musician Society) band.
10: 00 Lightning of Torch and Raising the Flag of Each Team
- The Torch was lighted by Franklin Armenton from the parking lot until the top of the building until he backed at the parking lot to light the torch.
- The Raiser of Red Phoenix is Franklin Armenton, for Green Wizards is Charles Reroma, for Blue Eagles is (update later on).
Trivia: Torch symbolizes the vision of education to provide enlightenment to all the students.
